Gold Coffee Tables How Do I Strip Spraypaint And Stain Off Of A Wooden Coffee Table?

How do I strip spraypaint and stain off of a wooden coffee table? - gold coffee tables

The top is either paint or spray paint gold ... can not determine why. The legs are colored shit or roll. I'm sure more than a little vague. I painted this piece. I think it would be great with a short time. What is the easiest / best way to get all the garbage out? I have no experience with this sort of thing.

I have this type of refinishing my life .. I suggest you sand the entire piece. easily, without going deeper, then a hand on the right side. dry overnight. Roller or brush, then the choice of acrylic color, good color. (available in bottles at any Wal-Mart in the craft area) .. then you can be creative and a different color and design .. or let it dry over night .. Cape Polycrylic satin poly. (You can also at Walmart) 2 layers of light, and it will take years .. Good luck

I recently renovated a kitchen table, solid wood, I bought a yard sale for eight dollars. I've tried before wood strippers. They feel and are very messy. You end up grinding anyway. So with my sand pit in front of the gate with an orbital sander began with a grain very hard for this part of the timber once it touches a finer grit each time, then use finer scratches. He wiped the song gets all the dust out of it. Then I bought a beautiful spot let it sit until I get my desired color. He cleaned up. I applied clear coats shine like glass. It takes time, but very rewarding. I enjoyed doing, and I love my table. With the right sander and sanding paper to work is easy.

A good quality paint strippers as "Nitromors" will remove the color. The spot is a different issue if a wood grain. May not return to the original timber is possible, you could try a dark spot may be. Good luck.

Use a paint remover liquid or gel, the trick is to be patient and do not quit before - it works, but takes time.
